The resort in ninety seconds
Three courses, the marina, the villas and the beach, in the order a client actually asks about them. The sentence you say when the phone rings.
One to one · Twenty minutes
No group webinar. No slides you have already seen. Your questions, the resort map open, and the running order nobody prints.
Maybe Casa de Campo® isn't in your catalogue yet. You keep seeing the name, you'd like to start selling it, and you're not sure where to begin.
Or maybe it's already on your website, a client calls, and the first thirty seconds are harder than the whole itinerary.
The material isn't the problem. There are decks, fact sheets and photography, and they are all accurate. What none of them give you is the order: who at the resort buys what, which villa suits which group, where a first quote usually goes wrong.
That takes twenty minutes with someone who has had that phone call more times than she can count. The other way to learn it is three months of trial and error and a couple of groups you'd rather forget.
You set the agenda. This is what most agencies end up asking for.
Three courses, the marina, the villas and the beach, in the order a client actually asks about them. The sentence you say when the phone rings.
The golf group, the family, the couple, the corporate incentive. Which villa fits eight players and two non-golfers, and which one never does.
How a package is built, what goes in it, what the resort needs from you and when. Where first quotes tend to go wrong, so yours doesn't.
How the commercial side works for an agency or a tour operator, and what changes depending on how you sell it.
They worked. Forty people on a call, thirty-five minutes, a Q&A at the end where three people asked and the rest listened.
The problem is that the useful part was always the particular question. The group format is faster for me and worse for you.
So these are one to one. It costs me more time and it means I get to hear about your clients, your market and what you are trying to put together. That is worth the extra hours.
I represent Casa de Campo® in Europe and I spend my week doing this: quoting groups, moving tee times, and answering the questions your clients are about to ask you. Bring the awkward ones.
Sessions run from the week of 28 September. I read every one of these before the call, so the twenty minutes go on your questions and not on introductions.
You're on the list. I'll write back within 24 hours with two or three times to choose from, and the meeting link.
Have a look in spam as well, just in case.
